A 100 TPD fluting paper machine produces about 100 tonnes of fluting (corrugating medium) per day of operation. "TPD" is the daily output of finished, reeled paper, not the weight of raw material going in.

What actually defines the machine

Three numbers decide whether a machine can reach ~100 TPD for fluting:

  • Trim width — the reel (web) width, typically around 2.8–3.4 m for a line in this range.
  • Operating speed — commonly 300–500 m/min for fluting; higher speed means more tonnage from the same width.
  • Grammage (GSM) — fluting is usually 90–140 g/m². Lighter paper at the same width and speed gives higher TPD.

Roughly: TPD ≈ width(m) × speed(m/min) × grammage(g/m²) × 60 × 24 ÷ 1,000,000 × efficiency. The efficiency factor (uptime, broke, consistency) is where real plants differ.

Typical section layout

Stock preparation (OCC) → approach flow → fourdrinier/wire → press section → dryer section → reel → rewinder. A 100 TPD fluting line usually needs a meaningful dryer section (often 30+ cylinders) because fluting leaves the press section quite wet.

What changes between two "100 TPD" machines

VariableEffect
Wire widthBigger width → more TPD at same speed
SpeedMore speed → more TPD, needs stronger drives
GSMLighter grade → more TPD
Dryer count / sizeMore evaporation capacity → supports higher speed

So "100 TPD" is a target, not a single fixed machine. When you request machinery, give us the paper grade, target capacity, raw material and width — we match the configuration, not a model number.
