Used machinery listings fall into a few status types. Each carries different risk.
Running & Installed
The machine is still producing. You can get recent run video and operating data — the strongest evidence of condition. Usually the most expensive and the hardest to free up quickly.
Installed but Stopped
Still in place but not running (why matters: market closure, upgrade, or fault). Condition is easier to inspect than a dismantled unit, but no recent run proof.
Dismantled with Evidence
Removed, but with a full chain: pre-shutdown run video, full-machine photos, nameplate, itemised list. Lower price, higher logistics effort, verifiable if the chain is complete.
Dismantled / Incomplete
Removed and missing items. Risk must be stated explicitly. Price should reflect the gaps; do not assume missing parts are easy to replace.
LANCY rule
Every opportunity shows a status and a Last Verified date. We do not list dismantled equipment without a stated evidence level, and we mark incomplete units as such.
