Common questions
Do I need new stock preparation if I buy a used paper machine?
Often yes. The front end is the most common bottleneck in a second-hand project: a machine rated for 200 TPD cannot reach it if the pulping and screening capacity behind it was sized for less. We check both sides before you commit.
What stock preparation does OCC-based testliner need?
A drum or hydraulic pulper, high-density and coarse screening, cleaners to remove heavy contraries, fine pressure screens for stickies, refiners to develop strength, and thickeners to set consistency before the machine chest.
How do I size a stock preparation line?
Start from the target tonnage per day at the reel, then add process losses and furnish yield — for OCC, rejected fibre typically means the pulper must handle noticeably more than the finished output. We size the line against your real furnish, not a catalogue figure.
