New or used — which is right for my project?
Used wins on first cost and speed when a suitable machine exists. New wins when you need a specific width, speed or grade, a warranty, or financing. Many buyers land in between: a sound used frame with new drives and controls.
How long does a new paper machine take to deliver?
A complete new line is typically 8–14 months from contract to start-up, depending on width and configuration. New key components on their own are usually much faster and are the usual choice for an upgrade.
Can I combine a used frame with new parts?
Yes. A used frame with new drives, headbox or controls often gives most of the reliability benefit of a new machine at a fraction of the cost and lead time. We scope both options side by side when we quote.
Do new Chinese machines meet export requirements?
Vetted manufacturers can supply CE or UL-compliant electricals and controls, full documentation, and English manuals. Specify the standard you need at the enquiry stage so it is priced in rather than added later.
